Compartimos el ingreso a IDA del fondo patrimonial de Cora Groppo (Buenos Aires, 1971). Su colección de prendas, piezas de comunicación y archivo digital son parte de la donación.

El trabajo de Cora Groppo, diseñadora de indumentaria por la Universidad de Buenos Aires, se destaca por su fuerte búsqueda e investigación, a favor de una diversidad morfológica desarrollada desde una moldería de vanguardia. Guiada por un proceso creativo que trascendió sus colecciones, en sus piezas son notables los juegos de volúmenes y de largos modulares, las estructuras desarrolladas con avíos no convencionales y las deconstrucciones tipológicas.

Entre 2003 y 2019 dirigió su propia marca junto a Ramiro López Serrot, y comercializó sus prendas en diferentes puntos del país y también en Italia, Estados Unidos, España, Francia, Inglaterra y Japón. En 2009, abrió una tienda en Piazza Spagna, en Roma, Italia. Realizó tres presentaciones consecutivas en el London Fashion Week, el espacio Cibeles de Madrid y la Semana de la Moda en París, y participó en sucesivas ediciones de BAFWeek y Designers Look en Buenos Aires.
