Anunciamos el ingreso a IDA del fondo patrimonial de Carolina Antoniadis (Rosario, Santa Fe, 1961), artista visual, diseñadora y docente.

Formada en la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón, y con artistas como Luis Felipe Noé y Enio Iommi, sus obras abarcan la pintura, el grabado y la cerámica. A su vez, desarrolla intervenciones urbanas y murales en el espacio público. Ha sido reconocida con el Premio a la trayectoria Fundación M. Calderón de la Barca (2018), Gran Premio de Pintura del Salón Nacional y Primer Premio de Dibujo del Salón Nacional (2016), entre otros.

Su práctica articula el arte y el diseño, a partir del ornamento como lenguaje y técnicas como la serigrafía sobre tela, el esmaltado en vajillas e intervenciones manuales alrededor de piezas artísticas, decorativas, utilitarias, textiles e indumentaria, como vestuario para obras de danza y teatro. La donación está conformada por empapelados, accesorios, indumentaria y diseños originales de vajillas, entre otros objetos.
