Épica Tipográfica | IDA + Cátedra Cosgaya

“Tipografía, espacio y tiempo”, moving póster basados en el programa curatorial “Épica: hazañas del diseño argentino”.

Estudiantes de la materia “Tipografía II” de la Carrera de Diseño Gráfico realizaron una serie de moving poster basados en las figuras, las piezas y los contextos destacados del programa “Épica: hazañas del diseño argentino”. IDA y Cátedra Cosgaya (FADU, UBA) concretaron el proyecto “Tipografía, espacio y tiempo”, que consistió en diseñar una pieza animada para generar un relato visual en movimiento. Como consigna, se utilizaron familias tipográficas latinoamericanas, relacionadas a la identidad visual de la fundación.

En este caso, presentamos la pieza animada de Limbo, firma ideada en los 70 por el músico Federico Moura, líder del grupo Virus. Fue la primera etiqueta de moda masculina que rompió con la sastrería inglesa e italiana típica de la época. Anticipó lo que después se vería en la moda global: paleta de colores vibrantes, pantalones chupines entallados, camisas estampadas y cinturones de cuero. Desde 1976 a 1999, Charlie Thornton y Claudio Martínez llevaron adelante la tienda con una propuesta exclusiva que renovó la vestimenta de los porteños.
