Patrimonial Addition: Paula Zuccotti

We are proud to announce the incorporation of the Paula Zuccotti collection into the IDA Foundation Archive.
Paula Zuccotti an industrial designer (FADU, UBA) with a Masters in Design, Strategy and Innovation (Brunel University), is an expert in trends and global consumption. Represents an exceptional case that reveals how strategic and conceptual design is related to cultural behaviors in the world.
She is the founder of the creative consulting agency The Overworld, an observatory where she identifies and connects people's emerging behaviors and their contexts around the world. From her headquarters, in London, Zuccotti is a leading advisor in the topics of design thinking, ethnography, trend forecasting and storytelling for such brands, products, and services for Google Creative Lab, Starbucks, Ikea, Hyundai, LVMH, Nike y LG. As a photographer and filmmaker, she has also developed documentary material for commercial campaigns like the Nokia Connecting Series and for Škoda Octavia Loved not own.
As part of her research projects in arts, design, and anthropology, she has published Every Thing We Touch: A 24 hrs Inventory of our Lives (Penguin Random House, 2015) —a conceptual and visual book about the daily footprint of objects in the experiences of more than 60 people—; made the film Future Archaeology; and created the Lockdown essentials web file. During the pandemic, she launched the social network campaign #EveryThingWeTouchCovidEssentialsX15, to make a survey aimed at identifying our changes in habits during confinement through the incorporation of new objects into daily practices.
As part of this new patrimonial addition, work documents, logs, creative processes, photographs, press material and publications get into the IDA collection.
