Nasimbera: “BAFWEEK is the platform that allowed the professionalization of the fashion industry in Argentina”

On this occasion, Damián Domínguez talks with María Celeste Nasimbera about fashion management, communication and sales platforms during the year 2000.

María Celeste Nasimbera is a journalist trained at the University of Buenos Aires. Specialized in design and fashion, since 2012 she has worked professionally in the media. She wrote for 90+10, Distrito Arte, Harper's Bazaar Argentina, and is currently the digital editor of L'Officiel Argentina. In addition, since 2015 he has carried out his editorial project “Crónicas de moda”. He has made international coverage of fashion weeks in London, Milan and Paris. Member of the selection committee of the Puro Diseño fair (2016-2017) and of the Seal of Good Design since 2019.

Damián Domínguez has a degree in Graphic Design from the Universidad del Salvador, with a focus on institutional and cultural communication. He works together with visual artists of the stature of Edgardo Giménez in the assembly of communicational and editorial pieces, and Paula Parisot, among others. Since 2019, he has been in charge of graphics, editing and image retouching for editorial, exhibition and dissemination projects of the IDA Foundation.
