Gueller: “Clarín's infographic department made history worldwide”

In this new interview of the Expert Opinion cycle, Maia Güemes talks with Ana Gueller about infographics in the mass media.

Ana Gueller is art director at La Nación´s newspaper. Trained in graphic design at the UBA and with doctoral studies in Art and Aesthetics (Carlos III of Madrid), she began her career in the Clarín computer graphics department with Jaime Serra; He worked in editorials and newspapers in Spain and Peru. For his work, he received international recognition such as the Malofiej infographic contest, the ÑH Awards (2016 and 2017) and by the Society for News Design (2019).

Maia Guëmes has a degree in Art Management and History from the Universidad del Salvador and a Diploma in Curatorial Studies from the Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design (London). She is the founder and director of the company Cultura Big, dedicated to creating cultural experiences. Since 2021, she has been the press officer for IDA.

 

#Epic: Feats of Argentine Design is the multi-format curatorial program with which IDA proposes to review a century of Argentine design history, from 1920 to 2020, through its collection and other guest files.
