In this new video interview, Paola Campuzano talks with Armando Corpacci, to investigate the history of the Carpet Factory, the emergence of the National Poncho Festival and the development of cotton and llama wool in the NOA. 

Based on these milestones, we analyze the ideas and symbols embodied in textiles and the impact of industrialization on artisanal processes.

Armando Corpacci (Córdoba, 1979) is a Senior Tourism Technician and Public Cultural Manager. Since 2019, he is Provincial Director of Crafts and Carpet Factory of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Catamarca.

Paola Campuzano is a Textile Designer from the UBA and was interested in technical aspects in construction processes, finishing touches and textile printing systems. She is the holder of the subjects Industrial Design with a focus on Clothing and Technology, materials and production in the Bachelor's degree cycle, tutor and jury evaluating the degree thesis at UNLA.
