Collaborations

––I–D–A Foundation is strengthened by the contributions of companies, public and private institutions, the designer community, and national and international benefactor associations.

This nonprofit entity, distinguished for its administrative transparency and its aim at excellency in patrimonial management, fulfills a key role in Argentina's productive and cultural dynamics.

All collaborations are used to expand research areas, strengthen the civic legacy, professionalize cultural services, and transfer new knowledge.

There are different ways to contribute to this aims, all of which reflect the priorities and interests of strategic partners who share common values regarding design, efficiency, and hierarchy.

Institutional Alliances

Links and networks of interchange boost our knowledge of material culture.

–I–D–A Foundation encourages activities that enable the exchange of resources, the provision of technical assistance, the articulation of knowledge, and the development of extension projects. Joint initiatives with diverse organizations devoted, directly or indirectly, to the protection, interpretation, and promotion of design are carried out to generate new perspectives and to reach broad audiences.

Sponsors

Endorsement from the private sector enables specific actions that support culture, identity, innovation, and design.

Socially responsible companies can sponsor a pioneer project of high symbolic capital. Brands are associated to design value, currently in boom on a global level. While gaining prestige, they reach new audiences and assure its social legacy.

The economic, material, and infrastructural contributions are allocated to research development, conservation measures, formative programs, exhibitions, publishing projects, and cultural diffusion.

Donations

Contributions come from relevant companies in the field, cultural institutions, active members of society, designers, heirs, and collectors.

Collective donations of pieces and documents have originated Argentina's greatest civic legacy. The impressive amount of items received show the solid institutional management, as well as the major social support given to –I–D–A Foundation.

Besides that, the donation of material, technological, and infrastructure resources increases institutional potential and allows for the project's development in its different stages. Contributions are a way to participate from an emerging organization that has a great future prospect.

Volunteer Work

The sum of experiences enhances the legacy formation mission, influences social reality, and has an impact on Argentine history.

–I–D–A Foundation has specific projects that complement the main action programs in order to intensify contact with pioneers and key agents of design, while preserving their memory and continuing their legacy.

The main tasks focus on patrimony formation, preventive conservation, classification, document digitalization and dating, institutional communication and diffusion, and participation in publishing projects and exhibitions.

The different types of pro-legacy activism are:

  • International Cooperation volunteer work

These volunteer actions for a nonprofit organization generate constant feedback and foster team learning experiences, while strategically providing a service to the community.

Friendships

Everyone can participate in innovative ways and through new experiences in this design project.

By becoming a Friend of –I–D–A Foundation, anyone can contribute actively with the legacy of Argentine design. The members of this community attain a special perspective of the institution and are duly recognized for their contributions.
